The 25 team races to their 6th win of the season!
Shawn started his weekend on May 9th at Dublin Motor Speedway by setting the fastest qualifying time. Shawn had a good race against Timmy Blackwell and Brent Robinson and was fortunate to come out with his 4th win on the season at Dublin Motor Speedway!
When asked about his experiences over the past two days of racing, Shawn shared the following comments: "I just want to thank my crew for such a good job over the past couple weeks for putting me under well prepared race cars. It's really putting some pressure on me to go out there and take advantage of it. We went to hammer Down and had a good run down there, me and Dean (Bowen) had a good race going there and we had to settle for second. We'll be back at those tracks this weekend! I look forward to seeing everybody this weekend!

Shawn Beasley wins at HammerDown Speedway!
Team 25 started the weekend Friday night at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC. After struggling with mechanical problems, Shawn failed to make qualifying and started the $2,000 to win feature in the rear. After moving through the field to take the 4th position, engine problems returned causing the team to drop out of the race.
On Saturday, the team made a last minute decision to change engines and made their way to HammerDown Speedway in Red Springs, NC. They were hoping to work out their problems on their first visit to the small bull ring and their efforts paid off! Shawn set a new track record (12.660) during qualifying and went on to win the feature event! "We really enjoyed racing at HammerDown. It's a small track but they are really working hard on their race program" said Shawn.
HammerDown Speedway started a new race program in 2008. The track operates on Saturday night and partners with Dublin Motor Speedway. The partnership pays special bonuses to teams that win at Dublin on Friday and HammerDown on Saturday. For more information on HammerDown Speedway, please visit www.hammerdownspeedway.com!

Shawn Beasley welcomes you to ShawnBeasley25.com!
Shawn Beasley, known as "The Raeford Rocket", and the Beasley Motorsports 25 team welcome you to the new ShawnBeasley25.com web site! Developed and maintained by Rhett Butler Photography, the site will showcase Shawn's experiences on the track throughout the 2008 racing season. You can expect to find news articles, schedule information, quick stats, action photos, information about the race team, and more!
"I wanted to launch a web site because I think my fans deserve it. I want to take my racing to the next level and I think it will be good for my sponsors and future prospects" said Shawn when asked about the site. "My goal for 2008 is to be a factor all year long. It seems like we come out real hot and kind of go into a slump during the middle of the year. I want to stay focused, win races, and let the championships be there if we decide to run for them!"
Shawn is also seeking additional sponsors for the 2008 season. "As for sponsors and their support, if they give 10 or 10,000 dollars, they are all appreciated. We all know that racing is expensive and without sponsors, most teams wouldn't be out there. There are different roles for all of my sponsors. I have fund sponsors, product sponsors, and I also get great advice from individuals like Ronnie Stuckey who I've learned a lot from."
Shawn's 2008 schedule includes weekly racing at Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, NC as well as super late model events at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC. Special events include Fayetteville's Crazy 8 miniseries and touring series such as the Carolina Clash, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
Shawn would like to thank all of his sponsors for their continued support. Sponsors include Beasley's Body Shop, TRO - Tobacco Road Outlets, Cain Builders, Stuckey Enterprises, Sewell Logging, Steve Ashworth Engines, Wheelers Transmission, Xtreme Graphics, Rhett Butler Photography, Butlerbuilt Racing Seats, Integra Shocks, Victory Engines, and SBR Performance Race Cars.
